Pangolin Solar name & identity design

When they came to me, the client had no name for his solar panel business. Fortunately he came to someone who creates business names as well as logos and branding,

The brief

The initial brief was to create a company name that conveyed the same quirkiness as energy companies like Octopus. From the three names I presented, the client chose Pangolin. I also did the research to ensure that Pangolin domain names were available.

The problem solved

The logo is designed so that the Pangolin icon is strong enough to be used on its own, once it's become identifiable with the company. The colour combination and rounded typeface are aspects of Pangolin Solar's overall branding.
